Graduated in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Álvaro Fernández began his professional career in the International Markets area of Banco Santander.
In 2002, he incorporated the Finance division of Michael Page in Madrid. Three years later, he’s promoted as the Manager of Michael Page Banking and in 2006 he assumes the Director position of this division.
In June 2007, Álvaro added to his responsabilities the direction of the Human Resources and Tax & Legal areas.
In April 2008, he assumed the General Management of Michael Page in Portugal. Under his management, the company has expanded its operations in Portugal, namely with the opening of an office in Porto and the development of Michael Page Sul, Michael Page Disability, Page Outsourcing, Page Executive and capital projects through Michael Page Consulting.
